ABOUT THE DOMAIN...
Château Léoube is an estate of 560 hectares, including 70 vineyards and 23 olive trees.
Located in the commune of Bormes les Mimosas, it stretches over almost four kilometres of coastline in the heart of the protected natural area of Cap Bénat on the maritime part of the Côtes de Provence appellation near the Fort de Brégançon facing the islands of Hyères: Porquerolles, Port Cros and Levant.
Long neglected, the property was taken over in 1998. Since then, the estate has undergone 20 years of intensive work both in the vineyard and to bring its equipment up to standard. The management and renewal of the estate have been entrusted to Jean-Jacques and Romain OTT. These efforts are still continuing today for a project that has reached an important stage in 2010 with, in particular, the commissioning of our new operational building (wine-making cellar, shop, offices...).
Eventually the estate will have 75 hectares of vines and 30 hectares of olive groves cultivated organically in the heart of the only protected natural area on the Côte d'Azur coast.
